John Barcroft (Doctor Bukov)

Doctor Bukov is a Russian academic working at the Ice Box under Director Devereaux. However, only he and Doctor Edith Joynton share the knowledge that the Director is a clone and are under secret instructions to monitor him.

It is Bukov who rescues Liz and Simon from the ice field and he makes a point of taking the inquistive Simon under his wing.
